What Our Customers Say
I meant to drop you a line earlier to say how impressed we both are with your Bumpstop
product but today it was fully utilised when my maxi scooter had a blow-out, fortunately I
manage to slow down from 50+ and stop without being thrown down the road,
luck/experience who knowns but a few more grey hairs!!!
As for the bumpstop with scooter adaptor plate, its brilliant, well built, strong and stable to
load and tow, loading the scooter even with a flat rear tyre was a breeze and with the
additional wide base bolted through the Phenolic Plywood and galv sub plates the Bumpstop is very secure and I was able to load and lash down the machine single handed.

On the way home the bike was as stable as any bike I've ever trailered.

Since we last looked at Bumpstop’s innovative bike holder-cum-stand they’ve been hard at
work responding to customer requests for a ground anchor version. In the last six months they’ve developed this certified ground anchor which carries full Thatcham approval. So not only does it keep your bike upright in the van, on a trailer or in your garage – the addition of the ground anchor section should mean your bike will stay exactly where you left it. The Bumpstop comes with the bolts to secure it and then your chain (one can be supplied at additional cost) prevents them from being removed so the unit stays securely in place. Additional wheel cups are available to allow the Bumpstop to be used with both vintage
and modern machines.

I also rescued a vespa P200 scooter broken down on M53 . I gave him your details as he was so Impressed with kit. So road bikes, off rd & MX bikes and scooter All fit, I just moved the pin to suit wheel size.

We've already given the Bumpstop the thumbs-up, and now there's a better version available for only an extra £16. The Bumpstop is a versatile wav of securing a bike in a garage, shed, garden, van or racetrack paddock. You can treat it as a ground anchor or as an easy way to hold your bike upright.
Just roll the bike on to the lower cup,
which will pivot and guide it to rest in the larger cup.
The new high-security version, which has Thatcham approval, has an extra tube for passing a padlock through; a thief will destroy the bike before they succeed in stealing it. It's easy to use and easy to adapt, with
feet, straps and different sized cups available.

I have tested it and towed it and everything works as you said. I did move the bottom channel pivot to the rear most hole in order to get slightly better engagement with the wheel.
Loading the bike is much easier and definitely safer with the Bumpstop fitted.

Received the Bumpstop for my scooter today, what a brilliant product. It holds my scooter
perfectly, no worries now about transporting it in the van which is a huge relief, previous
concerns of hearing it crash to the floor in transit are all gone!!. Many thanks for being able to get it to me whilst your factory was closed, very much appreciated.
